Another bad episode

^^Good Points^^
I liked the music. Like the other episodes in this series, I liked how you made the music subtle during the actual movie part of this, and made it more relevant at the end during the credits. The voice overs were clear, which is nice.

^^Needs Improving^^
I realize that you are not aiming for a storyline, which really hurts you, but anyway, what was here, I didn't find very funny at all. The guy wakes up and is angry, that's all that happens. You shouldn't expect anyone to like a movie if it relies on one joke, that really isn't funny at all.

Pretty cool

^^Good Points^^
For a first movie, this was excellent. The graphics were pretty impressive. I liked the scene looking down on the car's hood, and the slow motion right before that. The sound effects and music were also pretty cool. I thought this was pretty cool, but it had a few problems.

^^Needs Improving^^
The storyline doesn't really tell us a lot. This guy shoots someone and then drives off of the building. Nothing else really happens. The voice overs were a little hard to hear in the beginning.

Nice idea!

^^Good Points^^
I've seen people attempt to do stuff like this before, but I've never seen one done quite this well. The most impressive part about this was that it kept me occupied for the full time that I was watching it and I did not get bored at all. You got very creative with all the different animations you used and all the components of flash that were used to simulate weapons and other movements. I liked the ending and was thoroughly impressed with this. I liked how you had the scene select after the end too.

^^Needs Improving^^
It becomes a little hard to follow towards the end because of all the guys and the mouse becomes a little hard to see, but I don't really know a good way to fix that problem.

Err?

^^Good Points^^
This didn't have bad graphics. The shading you used and the drawings were pretty good, though you've used them in multiple submissions of yours before. I also liked the fade in of Speakonia, that makes me laugh.

^^Needs Improving^^
Kind of nasty to see Fat Badger's weiner. This is really short and just a loop, like something you'd see in a GG collab! (zing!) You've also submitted things very similar to this before.

Interesting...

^^Good Points^^
This is an interesting movie. The main character is an evil muffin, which is unique. I liked the music, it flowed with the animations very well. I liked your drawing style and the constant camera angle changes you made. The end was kind of cute too.

^^Needs Improving^^
It seemed like you tried to make this too much of a FBF movie with just random stuff. A lot of the time you were just making shapes and moving them around, which really had nothing to do with the storyline.

Khold responds:

Thank you :)
The thing is though... random shapes are what i like about FBFs :P
If you've seen even my Paper and Pencil drawings, a lot of them are just random shapes that look really cool... originally i wanted to make a random-shape FBF with a muffin cameo, but then i thought "why not just tell the story of 'Muffin of Doom?'" so i tried to make it half-and-half, but i see what you mean, though.

the random FBF parts are dividers between the scenes of the story.

Ah!

^^Good Points^^
It's always nice to see a change in the series every couple of episodes and this definitely did it. The design looked very hellish and was quite scary. The change in music is also refreshing.

^^Needs Improving^^
The design is a little hard on the eyes since the text is the same color, and the flowers don't look very scary :(

Andersson responds:

Thank you very much for the review and I can do nothing else than agree with your opinions.

Nice graphics

^^Good Points^^
This is some of the best graphics I have seen in this series so far. The shading that was used in this shows this fact. It was kind of funny as well how the bomb fell on that poor worm's head. I liked the night time type scene as well.

^^Needs Improving^^
Aww man...last episode of the series. Too bad you aren't making more fun stuff for me to review. :(

Brilliant!

--Graphics--
I'm not quite sure what to think of the graphics. Parts of the graphics were wonderful. For example, I liked how you animated Blockhead. When he moved around, it showed a lot of animating skill. I liked some of the drawings as well. I liked the drawings of Blockhead's conscience, which also shows your skill. However, most other parts I found to be a little strange. The backgrounds almost looked like sprites since they were kind of blurry and pixilated. I also didn't like how you didn't really manipulate the backgrounds too much, like when Blockhead picked up the phone, it didn't leave the receiver.

--Style--
Well, you've created a very sucessful character with this first episode, so obviously you've got some style. The storyline was unique and opened up an oppurtunity for humor and you took every opportunity and made this a wonderful series. You deserve all the recognition you have recieved for this.

--Sound--
This is definitely my favorite aspect of this movie. I loved the voice overs. They were very clear and very defined. You portrayed Blockhead's conscience in a perfect voice that made him seem like an erie old man. I loved both his voice and Blockheads, which were completely different even though they are the same person in essence. The sound effects were also very clear and on cue.

--Violence--
Well, the only part that would put pain into someone was when Blockhead was smashing his head into the couch. Not sure why he was doing this, but it was enough for me to give this a seven for violence.

--Interactivity--
You've got a unique preloader, which is about all that is interactive in this movie, so I can only give you a five in this department.

--Humor--
Like I said above, you took every possible opportunity for humor, and turned it into more humor than is possible. The voice overs really help with this in that they really define Conscience's short temper and annoyance. The randomness in this, like Blockhead eating his hand and trying to dial the phone company just made me laugh a whole lot.

--Overall--
This is a brilliant start to a series that I will definitely watch. This Blockhead dude, though we don't know much about him other than he is incredibly stupid, seems to be a memorable character that I will grow to like more and more. Keep up the good work!

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
