Decent

^^Good Points^^
I liked the way that everything in this was completely animated and wasn't just a stand still, it makes creating a scene much more fun. All of the items seemed to work fine and there was a pretty good variety of items.

^^Needs Improving^^
This should be more Doom themed. I have no idea why you used a background from Metal Slug, that just makes no sense, and you should have had some music from Doom, that would make sense...

MustEnjoyPie responds:

ya.. I figured someone would pick those out.. well I didnt use a Doom background for the fact I kept looking and waiting.. and looking.... I talked in forums.. but people kept getting confused with doom desktop backgrounds.. oh and the music..well I got lazy haha.. Thank you for putting time in your review! :)

Not bad.

^^Good Points^^
I like they simplistic game play style and the simplistic controls. This game takes a little bit of getting used to, but it's definitely fun to play. The music was a good choice and I could see this game giving quite a bit of fun.

^^Needs Improving^^
The main thing I didn't like was the graphics, in fact I thought they were pretty horrendous. There was a complete lack of detail in the walls, you could have made them look a lot better, and the colors just didn't work for me. I would have rather see just the dragon change color than the entire screen, it is a little annoying.

Ophyr responds:

Thanks for the review :)

Details are low indeed, I aimed for an abstract theme so yeah :) Actually, the first version was less fast, with a cartoony dragon ^^

Cool

^^Good Points^^
I was really surprised how much this resembled a Windows 98 boot, which makes this pretty unique in my eyes. Everything looked really nice and I was surprised at how much of this actually worked. It was pretty fun to go through the hard drive and search around even though there wasn't a whole lot there, and I liked how you snuck in your sims game.

^^Needs Improving^^
The mouse gets messed up after you use notepad, and this could stand some more simple apps and what not.

Widi responds:

Thanks for a nice review, I will surely improve this one. Maybe I might add some new, realistic and funny features and make a second version, so check it out soon :)

Good start.

^^Good Points^^
I like how simplistic this game is, it is easy to get a hang of and somewhat fun to play. It is a good idea, but could use a lot of improving.

The graphics could use some enhancement, right now the rocket things are very poorly drawn. There needs to be some good music and the game needs to progress faster and have some more features added to it.

NICFLIC responds:

Thanks for the review, I hope you like version 2 better.

Best one yet!

Definitely this is the best game of this series so far. I like how you are keeping the series fresh with new features and different level designs. I didn't particularly like that the gravoor was controlled by the mouse though. Either use the arrow keys or make the gravoor stick to the mouse. Graphics were great, better than most games of this genre, and nice music too.

Chris responds:

You do realise the stick gravoor to the mouse or arrow key movement would screw up the whole point of this game :/

Just stupid.

This game was just the most pointless thing I've ever seen. Everything done in this game could be done better and quicker in photoshop, hell even Paint would work. There is really no point to putting this on NG since it isn't fun at all and it is very pointless. You should know that dressup games aren't fun unless they have boobs in them.

blak-pantha responds:

just because it isnt porn doesnt make it bad

I guess it's useful

I guess this tut could be useful to someone who is making a logo. It was easy to follow, and as far as I can see everything was accurate. Graphically I liked the flash, nice job on that. The music was good also. This is a short tutorial that I doubt many will use, but I guess it serves a purpose.

hashbrown responds:

Thanks for all the compliments. but Logos arent just for websites. you need them for games, animations, and usually encounter some others. i hoped people could use this to make their own logos for whatever purpose. thanks again

Not bad.

The best part about these games is that they were all pretty original. There aren't many games like these on NG. The platformer and the shooter were very original and I would have liked to see finished. The other two were alright, but nothing special. You should definitely finish atleast those two and resubmit them. The graphics weren't that great in any game, they were mostly hand drawn, but the game play makes up for it. This could definitely use some funky music in it. Overall, nice job on the games even though they aren't finished.

johnfn responds:

Don't you worry about the graphics, I've got a 3D animator guy helping me out :D

Yeah, I'll probably finish shooter, then mousegame because so many people loved it, then I might go on to platformer and ditch the whole boss idea and move on. Thanks for the review.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
