WOW, there are a ton of sound clips in this one. I was really surprised with how many sounds you crammed into this. I liked how you color coded all the sounds in category as well, that makes it very easy to make a prank call, which I think is very possible with this sounboard. The sound quality was good, and most of the clips were the same volume.

The only thing I don't like are the buttons. Gradents look really ugly, especially when it's any color with black.

wizardman responds:

Yay, another person who hates the buttons. Yeah, I'm never usign gradients again. It seemed like a good idea at the time though. Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it otherwise.

Some of the levels have good designs that were a little intimidating at first and were pretty challenging.

From the instructions, when you say "some levels there is no fair way to beat" I was really expecting this to be better. The levels were all pretty straightforward and all of them had a "fair" way to beat them. There weren't enough levels, and most of these just looked like practice levels to a much bigger game. Make bigger levels that contain more components.

El-Moo responds:

I'm gonna start working on Beat the System 2.0 as soon as I finish a flash movie I'm working on. BtS 2.0 will have more levels, better looking layouts, and a password system so people don't have to do the game over when they lose.

One thing is that you had many different backgrounds that could be used which is always a fun thing in scene creators. There are lots of different characters, and the stage is not very cluttered.

The music is really quite annoying, so a music off button would be nice. There also aren't many images other than ones with the characters just standing up and looking forward. There wasn't any images of characters moving around or doing any interesting actions. You definitey need some more of these.

IZSBHR responds:

You see that grey arrow on a stick? That's a mute button.

Some characters do move. But if you need more...

Fun game to play. Probably one of the better Pong remakes on NG and on the web. The customizable controls are great, and the different game modes allow for a lot of replay ability. The music is a nice choice and the game is pretty fun to play. The power ups seem to be creative as well, and add a lot to the game experience.

I was expecting this to incorporate something a little more from DDR... All you did was use the song "bethoven virus" and have some of the same sound effects like in the menu. Nothing else really has to do with DDR. You got my hopes up for nothing.

polnareff responds:

Actually, I didn't use Beethoven Virus, I considered it, but didn't. The song title is in the credits...the reason I used the name Pong Pong Revolution was because it was original and also meant the revolution of pong. I tried to think of a way to incorporate DDR with Pong...but it all ended up sounding dumb =P

Thanks for the comment though.

Mr. Burns is a hilarious character sometimes, and I think you captured a lot of his funny moments. You even had my favorite clip from him "me no speaki chini". Nice job in the sound department. This is pretty decent for a first soundboard.

This has thirty two sounds, which isn't really a whole lot. You should add some basic questions/greetings/replies to make this more prank call friendly. The look of it is also not very appealing. The way you cropped Mr. Burns just looks horrible, and the whole "don't click me" part is just weird.

EvilKillingPinetree responds:

Yah i kno i neeed more basic sound thing but i kept searchinbg and culden't find even a simple hello so eventually i just gave up. Sry bout cropping but o well. Ouch thing was just to add more its just one of those things i add 2 see if ppl notice

This was a pretty neat game, and I had fun playing around with it. The many different options in this make it fun to play around with, and you can't really get a better filesize for a game anyway. Quick, and fun to play around with.

I have a few suggestions on how to make this better. First off, once you get a good, complex pattern going, the box gets really hard to see, even if you turn up the opacity. Perhaps you should somehow make the alpha of the drawing lower until the author wants to preview it, in order to see the box easier. I also would like to be able to change the size of the drawing box.

Rantzien responds:

Thank you, I will see about your suggestions.

There are lots of items in this game, many different faces, clock bodies, and lots of weapons and fun stuff to play around with. I made some pretty funny looking characters. Not a bad scene creator.

^^Needs Improving^^
The main thing I didn't like is that there is only one background option, and it is a very small background. Basically you can put one clock in there, and that is about it. The items are also pretty random. A lot of them have nothing to do with the CC, and you chose a lot of clock bodies of either clocks that don't exist, or are not very popular at all.

LOLOLOLOL! This has to be the funniest Terry Shiavo thing I've ever seen. Even the preloader started this game out as a funny game. I loved it. The game itself is very funny because of the perfectly fitting background music. This was a very funny portrayal of the battle for the rights to Terry Shiavo, and the ending was just too hilarious, with Terry dancing away, and the "Haha, Terry Shiavo stays alive" message is just the best ending to a game every. People need to loosten up and take this as a joke.

What the heck were those little white things in the maze? I hit two of them :(

Hitting the arrow keys to give your answers is pretty unique about this quiz. The questions are challenging to me, though I want never one for Pokemon. The graphical layout was pretty good too.

When Iget a question wrong you ask "whare are you six?". This made me laugh because aren't six year olds the ones that are supposed to like Pokemon. Anway, like frenzy said, the music is very loud, and I wish I didn't have to go back to the menu every time I get a question wrong.

Aprime responds:

"When Iget a question wrong you ask "whare are you six?". This made me laugh because aren't six year olds the ones that are supposed to like Pokemon", thats so funny, thanks for the review, it wud be the best review if only u gave it a high score, but the humour according to you should have been at least a 4

This is a decent tutorial. There are some good tips in here and you are pretty detailed on how to draw things then make them 3D. The test area was also a nice addition to this game to let people paractice.

^^Needs Improving^^
One thing is that there should always be a music off button, since some people won't always like your music. I wasn't to fond of it. You should teach people how to apply this tutorial into scenes, etc. since most people already know how to make a square three dimensional. Not quite enough info was put into this.

Aprime responds:

i learnt that from the simpsons, when homer goes computer graphics any who, thanks for the review!

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
