^^Good Points^^
This was a pretty challenging puzzle game in my opinion. It took a bit of logic, rather than just skill, like most puzzle games do. The graphics were nice, and the interface was easy to understand and user friendly.

^^Needs Improving^^
Just a suggestion...it would be nice if you could use the guess from the previous guess as the template for the next guess. Would just make things a little less tedious.

jackcole responds:

Do you mean something along the lines of starting guess number 2 with the marbles you chose for guess number 1? Just so the player doesn't have to click through all the colors again?

If that is what you're suggesting, that's an excellent idea. I'll put it on the list of changes :)

A decent game engine you have here. I like how there were a lot of attacks and abilities to use, and you added some animations to them all, which was a pretty neat feature. Looks like it could be the beginning of a cool game.

^^Needs Improving^^
I would have made it a bit more like a real RPG, more than just a single battle with no storyline. Boss battles, random encounters, etc. You've got the scripting down and the graphics aren't bad, just needs more fun.

flashmac responds:

Thanks for the review. Glad you thought it was allright.
Again, though, it's not perfect and I know that. This was kinda like a test. Just to get things worked out.
Lookout for my nest game though, coming out when I decide to get it rolling, because I haven't really been getting involved as much as I should have.

Better than the previous versions. You fixed the physics a bit, which is what was most needed. You now fall at a good rate, making it easier to play. Highscores was a nice feature to add too.

^^Needs Improving^^
Really nothing improved besides the physics and a few other small things added. The graphics were exactly the same, which is kind of annoying. Level designs look the same as well.

joshuaskillsrobles responds:

Yeah thats why in part 4 i added drawn backgrounds because peopl got annoyed of the photoshop omages.

It's a good tutorial for the old version of NG, probably the best I've seen. It had a very nice interface and nice music to go along as well.

^^Needs Improving^^
Of course much of it is out of date at this point. Most of the links don't work either. This will probably get some negative feedback in the future because of this.

Casualty responds:

Oh, it's you =]

Well, your reviews are helpful and fun to read as usual. Thanks for your feedback!

Neat concept and game play here. I like how you have to both shoot your enemies and jump from platform to platform. Multi-tasking is pretty hard in this game.

^^Needs Improving^^
Ok, you fall at only a very slightly faster rate than the platforms lower, so even the smallest slip up or hesitation and it's really hard to recover. Gravity needs to be a bit more realistic. Didn't even feel like playing past level 1 with this problem.

joshuaskillsrobles responds:

Yeah it was hard, but if you keep your eye on the platforms instead of the enemy, you will beat it with ease. The gravity was changed in the real version.

Seems like the Four Second series, which was a very neat and innovative thing, so trying to recreate it isn't a bad idea. It was pretty challenging to play this as you went on, as time was lower and everything was harder.

^^Needs Improving^^
I really don't like how you have to use the D-keys. It's a lot easier to use WASD when having to use the mouse as well.

Skeik responds:

When I came up with this concept I hadn't even heard of Four Seconds, I just played Wario Ware and I thought it would be a cool concept in flash, just as Four Seconds thought it would be.

If I had made this game later I would've thought about using WASD, thanks for the review.

The art wasn't too bad at all. Decent drawings with some shading and nice coloring. Also, cool how some parts were animated.

^^Needs Improving^^
It's very limited in number of pieces. Hardly any items besides the faces. Also, this was just one frame, no way it should be three megabytes. Try to compress your music next time.

Imacow responds:

Thanks for the review.

Yur right I never noticed how large it was.

This has to be one of the strangest pieces of food I've ever imagined. It's got some weird ingredients that probably aren't too convenient, but if I had them I would give it a try.

Not that it's a bit deal, but you say you need a cheeseburger...which doesn't make sense, as I would just eat that instead. But anyway, compress your music a bit and maybe add something more graphically interesting.

SpeedMetalSandwich responds:

The cheeseburger is so you can prepare it really quickly, rather then cook your meat taking time...

Thanks for the helpful review though!

It was kind of cool how you added the cutscenes and such into this to give it that cinematic effect. Challenging game and pretty fun to play around with.

As is a flaw in most games, detection wasn't that good. You couldn't hit the entire body of an enemy, you had to hit them in certain spots, which was really annoying. Also, increase the framerate a bit to make things smoother.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
