Well, I liked the graphics throughout this game. The games were simple and fun to play. I liked the music and had some fun playing this game.

Well, it's about the same as the last issue of this. It's really frustrating since the instructions are vague, I seem to run out of time without even knowing what is going on.

The best part about this is the graphics. I liked the background image you used, and the text looked really cool. All the buttons that I used seemed to work fine.

First off, the sound volume is really low, and sometimes differing from clip to clip. I couldn't see this used for a prank call either, since there really aren't nearly enough statements or questions in it. There is also that huge void in the middle.

This has improved a little bit from the first tutorial you did. I liked how you had the music on/off buttons, which should be in every tutorial. I am also a fan of how you linked each of the portal awards to the listing page on NG. This is very helpful, I think. The buttons all seemed to work too.

The graphics are still pretty lame. Also, the music on/off buttons seem to be in the way sometimes.

HomerDough responds:

Yea I know about the music buttons. I need to fix that. Thanks

Many many sounds. According to the last guy, 113 total, which is a hell of a lot for a soundboard, and you put them in a relatively small area.

What the hell is CMP? They don't sound like a very funny bunch. Most clips were very hard to hear or low quality. This was also very cluttered and doesn't have very good graphics. These combinations really don't make for a good soundboard.

Many sound clips. Most of them are at the same volume and pretty good quality and length. This could probably be used for a good prank call if you used it correctly. Not a bad job collecting sounds.

First off, the graphics aren't really that flashy at all. In fact, they are really quite plain and boring. Also, the bonus sounds are stupid, they serve no purpose, and are just incredibly annoying. Add a stop sounds button as well, this desparately needs it, especially after clicking the "Tom Fulp" sound.

Much better than you NG quiz. I liked the music, it was a neat tune, and wasn't annoying or low quality. There is a quite a bit of good information in this tutorial for the people that are less exprienced on NG, and I think that you did a good job with explaining most things. I could see this being useful.

Most of this info is taken right from the Help section of NG, so I can't say you had a lot of original work on this. Also, I didn't really like how when you went back to the menu the music restarted.

HomerDough responds:

Thanks and I know about the music

The music is very characteristic of NG, that is for sure. I guess you couldn't have music any more NG themed than an old classic paragonx9 song.

Well, There is a lot wrong with this. First off, after question seven, you go right back to question five, so you can't really get to the end of the quiz without doing some right clicking. The graphics aren't that great, they are really quite bland and boring. I felt that a lot of the questions weren't very good either. Most of them were about Tom and not so much about NG itself. Who cares how tall Tom is?

HomerDough responds:

Again, they are checkpoints. If you get one wrong, you go to the nearest checkpoint. Number 7's answer is 5'11 so you don't have to right click.

Usually when a persons first flash submission is a tutorial, it usually sucks, however this one was actually pretty well done! I liked the many different sound clips and the graphical layout was pretty nice looking. I especially liked how easy this was to follow. You even put some //comments into your AS, which is something I don't see in many tuts, but is very useful.

As Frenzy said, this isn't a plethora of information. Next time, you should definitely put a few more components of Flash into the tut.

Storm responds:

Thanks for the thumbs up, and yes - now I look at it, my tut is a bit too small.

I like this game. I think that it is pretty well made and that is is right up there with other defense games. The best thing about this is that you have two different weapons you can use, each having its advantages and disadvantages. The fact that you have to reload and switch guns in a very little amount of time makes the game very challenging, but still fun to play. Very challenging and well made.

The graphics are really lakcing in this game, and this is definitely the worst part of the game.

Definitely a pretty well made game. The game worked well, I didn't find any bugs and the game was pretty fun to play as well. It gets challenging after a while, which just makes it more fun. The graphics are great, especially animations and the drawings were very well done too. I liked the sound effects as well. Nice job on this game, I had fun playing it.

I would suggest putting in a few different game modes. I would have liked to see a non-stop mode where there is no time limit, only a certain number of lives you can expend.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
