Game works pretty well. I have few complaints about the actual gameplay. The game is midly addicting too. I like how it gets progressively harder as you go on and the health system works well.

Not really an interesting game, nor is it very original or innovative. The game is super easy too. I played for a few minutes and found I was not challenged at all and I don't feel like sticking around until it gets harder. You should definitely make the game harder.

Afro-Ninja responds:

Trust me, if you keep playing, it gets hard enough

Quite a few sounds in this one. From what I can tell, the buttons all work. Some of the sounds were pretty funny as well.

Like your other soundboard, this can't really be used for a prank call. Also, the sounds have a lot of background sound and sometimes contain more than one character. I've also never even heard of this show or movie, so I'm sure it isn't that popular.

There are lots of funny clips in this one. Of course Bart is a great character to make a soundboard on, he is a funny guy, and you got a lot of his good clips. The buttons I used all worked, and I liked the images you used.

^^Needs Improving^^
Some of the clips were different volumes, which is annoying. Also, I find that this probably couldn't be used for a prank call.

WOW, there are a ton of sound clips in this one. I was really surprised with how many sounds you crammed into this. I liked how you color coded all the sounds in category as well, that makes it very easy to make a prank call, which I think is very possible with this sounboard. The sound quality was good, and most of the clips were the same volume.

The only thing I don't like are the buttons. Gradents look really ugly, especially when it's any color with black.

wizardman responds:

Yay, another person who hates the buttons. Yeah, I'm never usign gradients again. It seemed like a good idea at the time though. Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed it otherwise.

Super small file, that's always a good thing, and it's even pretty entertaining to throw these little guys around. I like their facial expressions a lot it really lightens the mood, and can be used to cheer people up.

Sometimes it seems like the physics are off. I can have one dude bouncing up and down off of another guy when he should clearly be bouncing in another direction with the way the contact is made. I also think this would be cool with some kind of score system if you fix that. Perhaps based on time it takes for the pieces to settle, or number of collisions. Obviously, some gameplay features would have to be changed for that to work though.

Not a bad game. Atleast you took the time to change around the graphics and make it more interesting that half of the tetris games submitted. The sonic style graphics throughout the entire game were nice. I liked the different music as well. Game worked well.

I think you should have given the player the option of which song to play. Just looping them over and over isn't quite as good. The graphics could have been a little cleaner. For example, your start and replay buttons aren't really that great with a gray background.

Some of the levels have good designs that were a little intimidating at first and were pretty challenging.

From the instructions, when you say "some levels there is no fair way to beat" I was really expecting this to be better. The levels were all pretty straightforward and all of them had a "fair" way to beat them. There weren't enough levels, and most of these just looked like practice levels to a much bigger game. Make bigger levels that contain more components.

El-Moo responds:

I'm gonna start working on Beat the System 2.0 as soon as I finish a flash movie I'm working on. BtS 2.0 will have more levels, better looking layouts, and a password system so people don't have to do the game over when they lose.

This is a good tutorial for motion tweening. I really liked how you made the user do what has to be done in the movie, it helps to make things sink in a little better. The instructions were very clear and very detailed and the way you approached teaching this is cool as well. Nice tweening tutorial.

The title of this is a little misleading. An introduction to Flash will contain a tad more than just simple motion tweening. I think the title of this should really be changed to something more fitting so people can find it a little easier.

One thing is that you had many different backgrounds that could be used which is always a fun thing in scene creators. There are lots of different characters, and the stage is not very cluttered.

The music is really quite annoying, so a music off button would be nice. There also aren't many images other than ones with the characters just standing up and looking forward. There wasn't any images of characters moving around or doing any interesting actions. You definitey need some more of these.

IZSBHR responds:

You see that grey arrow on a stick? That's a mute button.

Some characters do move. But if you need more...

The drawings aren't that bad. It's probably the best part about this game/movie. The Dough boy's voice was well done too.

^^Needs Improving^^
They guy's voice that was the hand was incredibly loud and annoying...it really turned me away from liking this game/movie. The storyline is really pretty predictable and not very creative. We've all thought what would happen if he flipped out. The way you did it is really quite elementary and really quite boring.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
