Definitely a very good scene creator you have made. The quality buttons are very useful, as this game has a ton going on and will probably slow down some people's computers. There were a ton of different animated sprites in this, which were really great. Tons of other sprites in here, and a huge selection of backgrounds, make for a very replayable scene creator. The intro movie was a nice touch to this too.

You could have made some of the buttons a little more prominent, like the menu button. It is a little hard to find against some backgrounds. Also, I would have liked to see some different musical choices in the game.

ChaosCriticisor responds:

Tahnks for the contructive review. Buttons are no problem touching up. As far as my music, I tried using sonic authentic music for this project. But if anyone has a problem, turn off your speakers. Thanks^^

I liked the setup and interface in this game. All of the buttons worked well, and the point system was great. I like quiz games that have a score system like this, as you don't have to restart no matter how many questions you get wrong. The three musical choices was a great addition too.

I really don't like the graphics. You used a lot of gradients, which are usually ugly, and you really don't have any color scheme to go along with the game. Also, no pictures makes this very boring graphically.

I liked the little intro sound clip that played, that was neat. Also, the art really wasn't too bad at all. Good shading and drawings.

This just needs a lot more to it. There were very few items in the game, which didn't really make for too much fun in the game. I only played around with it for a few seconds before I became bored of it. The clothes also stick to the mouse sometimes, which is annoying.

This could definitely prove to be pretty useful to people trying to animate with sticks, and you definitely have enough skill in animating judging from this to teach people how to do it. You went into a ton of detail in this tutorial and explained why you did what you did and exactly how long.

^^Needs Improving^^
A little bland in coloring Even if it had nothing to do with the animations, backgrounds always make stuff look better. Also, I would have liked some music.

Definitely a challenging game for someone to play. It would take a lot of knowledge to actually get a positive score, which I was far from having. I liked the sound effects and music you added to this game as well.

It would be nice if you skipped something to be able to see what the actual word was. Also, It was a little odd how you had to select the text to delete it. It would be much nicer if you had made it so the box was automatically cleared somehow. Also, when the game is over, if you have a negative score, it will display -1, and no less.

LuckyLollipopLad responds:

Not sure what you mean about selecting the text to be deleted. I'm guessing you mean after skipping. Easily solved and I'll do so for the next iteration.

I'll also show actual words in the next iteration for sure.

I'll keep the negative scores. If you do badly, you deserve to know how badly.

I've got ideas for a hint system and hope you like the forthcoming version more with that added.

A pretty solid memory type game here. There were a ton of flags, and they were all really small, which made the game pretty challenging to me. The game was easy to play and pretty fun as well.

^^Needs Improving^^
This does need some sound. At least some music would be nice, or perhaps some sound effects for choosing the flag. Also, it would be a lot harder if you had gone back and asked some flags a few times rather than just once.

LuckyLollipopLad responds:

You mean not added anything and asked people to remember which flag was Gambia's - for example?

I'm not sure I like that idea - I kinda like the way that just now there's 2 methods for knowing what to click - your short-term-memory and your knowledge of flags.

Still, I suppose it could make for an interesting alternate game mode...

I really never felt that games like this needed sound, but it's now clear that that's what the masses want.

Thanks for all the input!

As far as trying to test our your engine for the game, it seems to be very successful to me. The game worked very well, and I felt that when I clicked on stuff, I didn't get any bullshit errors, even on the moving stages. The moving stages were a great addition as they are very hard. I couldn't beat the first moving one that I got to, which was funny, so I gave you humor points as well.

Some music would be nice to add to this. I was also thinking that in harder levels perhaps you could add something really distracting, like a blinking screen or something.

LuckyLollipopLad responds:

Glad you liked it.

The level you couldn't beat... was actually the last level. Well, it was only a test.
(Though the engine was accidentally deleted from my hard drive...)

Great idea about having visual distractions!

Stay funky!

I just got done playing the first two games of this type by you, and I will say that this is the best one so far. It's similar to Music Stomp, but it is much harder, and much more fun. I got through the first two parts of this without getting hit, but once they started attacking from the side, I died pretty quickly. Still fun though.

Fun game.

Another edition of this game, and another good one. The song was very intense, got me pumped up for the game. Again, the lazers were very well synced to the music. This version of the game was much harder, which was good. I actually didn't beat this one. The added tips section was good too.

The game was really hard. A little too hard if you ask me. I couldn't complete it because I got a bit too frustrated. Also, I don't like how you are required to submit your score, it's just a bit annoying.

Coolio-Niato responds:

In the new submission "Music Smash" there is a replay button and isnt AS hard. Check it out in the NG portal. :D

Peace

This was a very cool rhythm based game. The idea is very original, and it definitely deals with rhythm. All of those cylinders stomping down to the music was really cool, and it was almost as if them hitting the ground was making up the song. The game was challenging and fun to play.

Fun to play, but it doesn't last very long. The song only last about two minutes, and I beat it the second time I played. I was really disappointed that you didn't add another song or something.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
