Excellent game!

This game was truly amazing. It is an original concept, and really makes puzzle games fun. I liked how you made the menu the guy's desk, this was very original. The graphics were superb, they were better than most full blown flash movies. The sound was good, though there could have been some sound effects. The game is very fun, though I thought it should have told you when you were stuck.

Useless.

This is pretty darn useless if you ask me. The graphics were just plain terrible. This quiz has a hard layout that isn't particularly fun to look at. The sound was really bad and the questions were just plain stupid. Half of them made no sense or had gramatical errors. The resulst screen just looked stupid also. You need to work on the layout a lot and just make better questions. Particularly ones that can actually be answered right or wrong. And by the way, the replay button does not work if you click on the arrow.

Yeah, I like the advice and critique, even though its very unlikely I'll make another quiz game.

Yeah, it is useless. But its supposed to be entertaining, and no utilitarian. Hmmm, I can't see how the layout is "hard". It seemed pretty straightforward.

The questions are kind of "stupid", but its not supposed to be serious. And yeah, I guess the results screen didn't look that good. The aesthetics weren't the best.

Hmmm, as with the questions being answered right and wrong, that's a whole diffrent kind of product. What I have here is a quiz that focuses on abstract concepts rather than a right/wrong trivia quiz. So I could change it to be something you'd prefer, but someone else might find the right/wrong quiz too dull. See what I'm saying?

Yes, the replay button has flawed hitbox, but it works if you hit it on the arrow.

But thanks for the review nonetheless, and I appreciate all the criticism.

Ok...

Putting this information in a flash movie would be a hell of a lot more useful if the file size wasn't 5mb...by the time this loaded, I could have found the same info on the web in less time. I don't really see the point to this flash. Most of the info looks to be just copied and pasted from other websites. The pictures were good, but they aren't interactive at all. This could have been organized a lot better too. There should have been a menu or something with the different weapon classes. Music also needs an on/off button since AC/DC is just a terrible band. I don't see why this is getting a 3+ score at this point.

Wow...just wow.

Before playing with this, I've never seen a good music simulator on NG. This was superbly made. The graphics were very good and everything was well animated and with the music. The sound was very high quality and there was a ton of stuff to choose from. The game is very easy to play and start to get in to. I'm not at all into punk music but this was just awesome. This is just a great game!

Ok.

These types of games are becoming very popular as submission to NG, and they need something that will help them stick out among the competition. This one, did not have that. The controls were backwards, but I didn't really think that added a whole lot of difficulty to the game. The level designs were pretty good. I liked the level where everything was moving very fast, but I didn't really like the levels where some walls were false walls and you had to figure out which was which just by guessing. The music was good, but sometimes the music select button (which was a nice touch) was in the way of playing. Next time make sure it isn't.

Interesting concept, but not well executed

I think it is really nice to see some more original games on NG like this one but unfortunately this one had a few problems. The graphics were pretty good as was the sound and idea like I said. The thing I didn't like about this game were the controls. They were very hard to get a hang of and just didn't make the game very fun. Perhaps if both paddles went in the same direction the game would be better.

A great rendition of one of my favorites!

Kaboom! has always been one of my favorite Atari 2600 games, and it's nice to see a good rendition of it. I like how you added a lot of new features like the unsafe bombs and the bonuses. The game play was challenging, fun, and addictive, but I didn't really like how you couldn't capture bombs with the side of your barrel like on the original version. Other than that, this game was very good. The controls were flawless and the graphics were very well drawn. Sound effects were very good. I like how you used more calming sounds when you did something right, and more annoying sounds when you missed a bomb. It's very nice to see a good rendition of this game, nice job!

I'm not impressed.

Unfortunately for you, my friend, quantity does not mean quality. When I saw this described as an emulator loaded with 70+ roms, I was excited to play it and find out what it was, but this was just disappointing. Most of the games are really slow paced and just boring. Most of the games aren't fun to play and have stupid concepts, and some of them weren't even playable. I applaud you for using mostly original games, but they were just stupid.

Newsdee responds:

You do realize that you are describing the system I am emulating, and not the emulator itself? The games I'm including are all that is currently known for it. I'll gladly add more if somebody makes them.

Hello there! I'm a student of art, in case you didn't know. Yes, I still need to complete materials for my exam and assignment in the liberal arts and other Arts class. I'm just a old kid with a passion for the arts and communication.
